Dr. Jalid Sehouli

Dr. Jalid Sehouli is a gynecologist and oncologist specializing in ovarian, peritoneal and fallopian tube cancer and Director of the Department for Women’s Medicine (CVK) at Charité. He received his doctorate with a dissertation on the postoperative use of unconventional cancer therapies in gynecological oncology in 1998 and habilitated at the Humboldt University of Berlin on the topic of "Multimodal Management of Malignant Ovarian Tumors". Prof. Sehouli is involved in numerous committees and professional societies for Global Health, including the former Charité Global Health Directorate, the Berlin University Alliance, the Prevention Committee European Society of Gynecological Oncology (ESGO), the GCIG Gynecological Cancer InterGroup. He is the founder of the Global Health Working Group of the North-East German Society of Gynecological Oncology (NOGGO), has established the Global Women Health Unit at the Department for Women’s Medicine and is President of the Pan-Arabian-Research Society of Gynecologic Oncology (PARSGO).
