Dr. Sharifah Halimah Jaafar is a senior consultant obstetrician and gynecologist with over 25 years of expertise in managing a wide range of gynecological conditions, from routine cases to the most complex. A highly accomplished and skilled surgeon, she specializes in advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynecological surgery across various indications. Her special focus is in Endometriosis surgery. Dr. Sharifah’s leadership extends beyond her surgical skills. She is the founder and President of the Advanced MIS, Robotic & Ablation Society of Gynaecologists Malaysia (AMRAS), an organization that advocates for the adoption of advanced technologies in women’s healthcare. She has also held prominent roles, including being a council member of OGSM, chairperson of the OGSM Gynae-Endoscopic Subcommittee (2023/2024), and honorary secretary of the Gynaecological Endoscopy Society of Malaysia.
